Gaillardia x grandiflora

This member of the daisy family have some of the brightest flowers in the late summer garden. They are bicolored in yellow and red, and flower for a long period in late summer/autumn to 30 cm. They are best in full sun where they will flower best but are often short lived and dislike wet winter.
