Hydrangea [Lace-Cap]

'Lace-cap' Hydrangeas are the 'natural' form of the Hydrangea with a central area of fertile florets and an outer ring of sterile florets. This combines the two roles of (a) forming seed, and (b) attracting insects of pollination. They are often more suitable for woodland and natural plantings.
